Monarque Paris is a contemporary embroidery house founded in 2021 by Anaïs Caulat, an embroidery artist and spatial designer who graduated from the École Boulle. Her perspective as a scenographer transforms textiles into a true medium for expression: every garment, accessory, or object becomes a sensory space, a blank canvas upon which the designer writes and paints stories with a needle. Intuitive and free, the embroidery unfolds as a modern and personal language.

Sometimes enriched with fragments of vintage jewelry, her hand-embroidered creations carry the memory of the gesture, the material, and time. Some are born from antique textiles—trousseau linens transformed in her Parisian studio—while others come to life on new, eco-friendly fabrics. All share the same intention: to tell a story, record a memory, or reveal an emotion. Produced as unique pieces or in small series, they embody a sensitive and sustainable approach to textiles, balancing craftsmanship, fashion with a soul, and tangible poetry.

The house offers a bespoke embroidery service. Anaïs consults with you, then designs and hand-embroiders a unique motif, either on one of her own pieces or on a fabric you entrust to her. These co-creations give rise to sensitive objects, designed to be cherished and passed down over time. Each piece thus becomes a personal talisman, a symbol that we wear and that accompanies us, like a wish discreetly inscribed in the material.
